These terms govern your use of AnchorBase — please read them.
AnchorBase is a boat anchor-drag alarm. It uses your device's GPS to detect if your boat moves outside a user-defined radius from the anchor and alerts you. It is an aid to vigilance, not a substitute for it.
No anchor alarm is infallible. GPS can drift, fail, or be blocked. Your phone's battery, OS power management, or connectivity can interrupt monitoring. Always maintain your own anchor watch in conditions that demand it and never rely solely on this app for vessel safety.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Crew invitations grant access to your boat's anchor-alarm data; only invite people you trust.
Don't reverse-engineer the app, abuse our servers, or use the service to harass others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
During beta, AnchorBase is free. When premium features launch, you'll be notified in advance and no feature you use today will be retroactively gated.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AnchorBase and its operators are not liable for damages arising from use of or reliance on the app, including but not limited to loss of or damage to your vessel.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app and take effect 30 days after notice.
